Naveen Patnaik Begins 7‑Day Delhi Visit to See Ailing Brother
Bhubaneswar/Delhi: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, has embarked on a seven‑day visit to New Delhi.
The primary purpose of his trip is to check on the health of his elder brother, Prem Patnaik, and spend time with him.
Sources indicate that Naveen Patnaik may also consult doctors regarding his brother’s medical condition during the stay.
While the visit is largely personal, speculation remains that he could meet senior political leaders and other prominent personalities in the national capital.
The former Odisha Chief Minister is expected to remain in Delhi for about a week before returning to Bhubaneswar.
