Jagatsinghpur: Drug Mafia Attempts to Run Over Police, Constable Injured, Two Arrested

Jagatsinghpur district witnessed a shocking incident late Saturday night when members of a drug mafia gang attempted to run over police personnel during a patrol.

Constable Captain Nityanand sustained serious injuries in the attack.

Police swiftly arrested two accused, identified as Vicky Parija and Zaki Parija, while three others managed to escape.

Authorities confirmed that the arrested individuals already face multiple criminal cases and were out on bail at the time of the assault.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding suspects, with raids underway across the district.
