Fatal Lightning Strike Claims Woman’s Life in Mayurbhanj
Mayurbhanj, Odisha – A tragic incident unfolded in Ranipokhari village when a woman lost her life after being struck by lightning during a sudden Kalbaisakhi storm.
The victim, identified as Mench Singh, had stepped into her backyard to collect clothes drying on a line when lightning struck, leaving her unconscious.
Local residents rushed her to Udala Medical, but doctors declared her dead upon arrival. Police from Sharata station later seized the body and initiated an investigation.
