CM Majhi Extends Nuakhai Greetings, Calls for Unity and Prosperity

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai, describing it as the “heartbeat of our soil, culture, traditions, and social unity.”

In a video message shared on X, Majhi urged citizens to set aside differences, bitterness, and ego, and to embrace the festival’s traditions of offering “Juhar-Mundia” to elders and gurus while showing affection to the younger generation.

He emphasised that Nuakhai strengthens family ties and social bonds, reflecting Odisha’s rich cultural heritage.

The Chief Minister also called upon students, youth, workers, farmers, and soldiers to contribute towards building a prosperous Odisha by 2036 and a developed India by 2047.

Concluding his message, Majhi prayed for happiness, peace, progress, and success for all, invoking the blessings of Maa Samalei and offering “Nuakhai Juhar to all.”
