CM Majhi Backs PM Modi’s Anti-Paper Leak Law, Calls It Youth-Securing Reform

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed legislative measures to curb examination paper leaks, describing them as a landmark step to safeguard the future of India’s youth.

Majhi said the Centre’s plan to introduce stricter laws and establish fast‑track courts would reinforce transparency, accountability, and merit in the examination system.

He emphasised that such reforms are crucial to restoring public confidence in recruitment and entrance exams, which have been undermined by repeated leak incidents in recent years.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the initiative is not only about preventing malpractice but also about ensuring fairness for millions of aspirants nationwide.

“This move secures the future of our youth and strengthens the credibility of the system,” Majhi stated.

The proposed framework is expected to serve as a deterrent against organised exam fraud while providing swift justice to affected candidates.
