CM Majhi Applauds Odisha Roll Ball Players for Medal Success
Bhubaneswar, April 27: The Odisha Senior Men’s Roll Ball Team clinched the bronze medal at the National East Zone Senior Roll Ball Championship 2026 held in Shillong, Meghalaya.
The two‑day event concluded at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex, showcasing high‑intensity matches among teams from Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Meghalaya, and Nagaland.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated the team via his official X handle, lauding the players and coaches for their dedication and wishing them a bright future in sports.
The championship was organised by the Meghalaya Roll Ball Association under the aegis of the Roll Ball Federation of India, with support from the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Meghalaya.
This achievement adds to Odisha’s growing sports profile, highlighting the state’s rising prominence in Roll Ball and its commitment to nurturing talent.
