Bhubaneswar–Bangkok Flights to Resume from October 2
Direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok are set to restart from October 2, 2026, reconnecting Odisha’s capital with Thailand’s bustling hub.
The flights will operate twice a week from Biju Patnaik International Airport, offering travellers renewed access to Southeast Asia.
The service had been suspended earlier due to low passenger demand.
However, with the tourism season beginning in October, officials expect improved passenger loads.
Airport Director Prasanna Pradhan confirmed the resumption, highlighting its importance for strengthening Odisha’s international air connectivity.
This development is expected to boost tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange, making overseas journeys more convenient for passengers from Odisha and neighbouring regions.
