Jajpur: a seven-day Ama Badachana Mahostav was inaugurated at Badachana in Jajpur District on Wednesday.
On the third evening of Mahostav .P residing over the event, Mohastav committee chairman & Badachana MLA Amar Kumar Nayak said, ” Ama Badachana mahostav is a glorious history.
The MLA appealed to the people of Badachana to keep alive the unique identity of the Badachana land throughout the state.
Jajpur Collector Amber Kumar Kar participated as the Guest of Honour and discussed the traditions of Badachana land and wished the success of this seven-day festival.
He said that the festival keeps the literature, culture, heritage and traditions of our land alive, along with strengthening brotherhood.
Committee Vice Secretary Balaram Rana introduced the guests. Committee General Secretary Dilip Kumar Chowdhury, Pranab Kumar Das, & Many luminaries, including the founding members of the festival, were present on the occasion.
