Skeleton Found in Abandoned Mill Raises Murder Suspicions in Ganjam

Ganjam (Odisha): A skeleton was discovered inside the abandoned canteen of a closed spinning mill in Asika Kotinada, sparking allegations of murder.

Police suspect the remains belong to Shankar Patra, who went missing 18 months ago.

Family members identified the skeleton by clothing and shoes found at the site and accused unknown persons of killing Shankar before abandoning his body.

They have demanded justice and a thorough investigation.

The skeleton has been sent to Berhampur for DNA testing to confirm identity.

Police have yet to respond to the murder allegations.
