Puri, April 19: The ongoing inventory of the Ratna Bhandar at Jagannath Temple has entered its ninth day, with officials confirming that no discrepancies have been found so far.
The process, which began on March 25, has logged over 57 hours of counting, covering ornaments, gold items, and gemstones.
All entries have matched the 1978 inventory records, verified through serial numbers.
Authorities have sealed the first chest after full enumeration, while work continues on the second and third chests.
Gemologists are engaged for gemstone verification, and photography, videography, and 3D mapping have been completed to ensure transparency and digital documentation.
The exercise will pause for rituals and resume during the Bhitara Chandan Yatra, expected after May 11.
Officials emphasize that the process is being conducted with accuracy, transparency, and strict adherence to protocol.
