President Murmu to Visit Kandhuni Devi Shrine in Ganjam

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Ganjam district on August 4, 2026, as part of her Odisha tour.

She is scheduled to offer prayers at the Maa Kandhuni Devi shrine near the Taptapani hot spring in Sanakhemundi block’s T. Gobindpur panchayat.

Following the rituals, she will have lunch at the shrine premises.

The district administration has launched a cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, repaired approach roads, and beautified the temple surroundings.

Senior officials, including the District Collector, SP, and electricity department staff, have inspected the arrangements. Police have tightened security to ensure smooth proceedings.
