PM Modi to Visit President Murmu’s Village on June 20

Mayurbhanj, June 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Pahadpur, the native village of President Droupadi Murmu in Mayurbhanj district, on June 20, 2026.

The visit, at the personal invitation of President Murmu, coincides with the Odisha government’s two‑year anniversary celebrations.

According to the official itinerary, the Prime Minister will arrive at the Pahadpur helipad at 11:05 am and proceed to offer prayers at Goshani Peeth, a revered tribal worship site.

He will then interact with students at SLS Memorial School, established by President Murmu in memory of her late husband and son.

Later, Modi will address a public meeting at Dandaposh around 12:55 pm, before joining the state government’s anniversary programme from 1:00–2:00 pm.

He is expected to depart at 2:15 pm, spending nearly three hours in Odisha.

President Murmu will arrive in Odisha on June 19 and accompany the Prime Minister during the anniversary programme.

District authorities are making elaborate security and logistical arrangements ahead of the high‑profile visit.
