Odisha Voter List Revision 2026 Enters Crucial Phase
Bhubaneswar: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Odisha’s electoral rolls has entered a decisive stage, with nearly 60% of voters already receiving their enumeration forms.
According to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), by June 6, 2026, a total of 1,98,97,331 voters — representing 59.57% of the electorate — had been covered in just eight days.
The CEO has urged citizens to cooperate with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to ensure that no eligible voter is left out and no ineligible name is included.
The distribution and collection of forms must be completed by June 28, 2026.
To simplify the process, voters can download forms directly from the Election Commission’s portal (voters.eci.gov.in) and upload them online without additional documentation.
A toll‑free helpline (1950) has also been activated to assist citizens.
Awareness campaigns are being run across television, newspapers, radio, and cinema halls to encourage participation.
Calling the exercise “democracy’s big festival,” the CEO reminded voters: “Your vote counts. Your name on the list matters. Act before June 28, 2026.”
