Odisha Publishes Final Voter List for 2026 Elections
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Odisha has released the final voter list following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026.
The updated roll now includes ERO/AERO offices, or online via voters.eci.gov.in and ceoodisha.nic.in. Applications for inclusion, correction, or deletion remain open, with appeals available through the District Magistrate and the CEO.
The revision, conducted under the Election Commission, includes 3,16,32,754 electors, marking a net increase of 2,45,720 names compared to the draft roll published in July.
The gender distribution stands at 1,61,30,319 male voters, 1,54,99,661 female voters, and 2,774 third‑gender voters, with the gender ratio improving to 961.
The elector‑population ratio is 67.05, reflecting a more balanced representation.
During the revision process, over 20 lakh unverifiable entries were removed, including absent, shifted, deceased, and duplicate voters.
At the same time, 2,90,497 new names were added, while 44,777 entries were deleted.
Infrastructure has also been strengthened, with the number of polling stations rising to 45,250 from 38,123 in the previous roll.
The final list also accounts for 46,816 service voters.
Citizens can verify their names at polling stations.
India’s guidelines, with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, aim to ensure accuracy and inclusivity ahead of the upcoming elections.
