Odisha Launches Statewide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign Until August 17
Odisha has rolled out a statewide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, urging citizens to proudly display the national flag at their homes and participate in patriotic activities leading up to Independence Day.
The Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture has allocated Rs 10 lakh per district to support local programmes, ensuring grassroots involvement across blocks and gram panchayats.
Culture Minister appealed for mass participation, highlighting the campaign’s role in fostering unity and national pride.
A state‑level Tiranga rally, organised by the Sports and Youth Services Department, marked the beginning of the initiative, with officials, youth, and students joining in large numbers.
The campaign will continue until August 17, 2026, with events designed to strengthen patriotism and collective celebration across Odisha.
