Odisha Govt to Release Subhadra Aid for 1.23 Lakh Left-Out Beneficiaries on May 4
Bhubaneswar, May 2: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that over 1.23 lakh left-out beneficiaries of the Subhadra Yojana will receive financial assistance on May 4, 2026.
These beneficiaries had missed out on the fourth instalment of the scheme, which was disbursed on March 8, International Women’s Day, to 1.02 crore women beneficiaries amounting to Rs 5,000 crore.
Parida directed officials to prepare a comprehensive list to ensure that no eligible woman is excluded from the scheme’s coverage.
The Subhadra Yojana, a flagship initiative of the Odisha government, aims to provide financial empowerment to women across the state.
The upcoming disbursement seeks to plug gaps in implementation and reaffirm the government’s commitment to inclusive welfare delivery.
