Odisha Govt Approves 5% DA Hike for Employees, Pensioners
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a 5% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees and pensioners. With this revision, the DA rate rises from 257% to 262%.
The hike will be effective retrospectively from January 1, 2026, and employees will receive arrears along with their July salary.
This move is expected to provide significant financial relief to thousands of beneficiaries, helping them cope with rising inflation and living costs.
