Odisha Directorate of Mines and Geology Transfers Junior Mining Officers
Bhubaneswar, June 12: The Directorate of Mines and Geology (DoMG), under the Steel and Mines Department of Odisha, has issued a transfer order for several Junior Mining Officers in the Mineral Administration Wing.
According to the official notification (Office Order No. DoMG‑ESTI‑ESTT‑0212‑2025‑6907), the reshuffle aims to streamline administrative efficiency and strengthen field operations across key mineral districts.
The officers have been reassigned to new postings to ensure balanced manpower deployment and improved oversight of mining activities.
Officials stated that the move is expected to enhance monitoring, compliance, and coordination between regional mining offices, thereby reinforcing Odisha’s mining administration.
