Odisha CM Majhi Launches UAE Investor Outreach, Secures Talks on ₹2.10 Lakh Crore Projects
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has kicked off a high-level investor outreach in Abu Dhabi, holding strategic meetings with the International Holding Company (IHC) and the Adani Group.
The discussions centred on 14 projects backed by signed MoUs, with an estimated investment of ₹2.10 lakh crore.
The projects are expected to generate 8.7 lakh jobs, including 1.9 lakh direct, 4 lakh indirect, and 2.8 lakh construction-related opportunities.
Key focus areas include metallurgy, rare earths, critical minerals, coal-to-chemicals, port-based SEZs, and industrial infrastructure.
Majhi highlighted Odisha’s rich natural resources, industrial ecosystem, and strategic location, assuring investors of long-term facilitation.
He also engaged with the Indian Business & Professional Group (IBPG), emphasising opportunities in turmeric, ginger, seafood, food processing, and contract manufacturing for UAE brands.
The outreach further explored deploying Odisha’s skilled workforce to UAE markets.
This marks the formal launch of Odisha’s UAE investor outreach, positioning the state as a hub for global industrial partnerships.
