Indian Railways Announces Summer Special Trains for Odisha
Bhubaneswar, April 15: To ease passenger congestion during the summer holiday rush, the Indian Railways has introduced a series of special trains connecting Odisha with major destinations including New Delhi, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Patna, and Puri.
The services will run on key routes such as Anand Vihar – Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar – Kolkata, Visakhapatnam – Shalimar, Sambalpur – Shalimar, Patna – Khurda Road, and Puri – Patna, with operations scheduled between April and mid‑May.
These trains are expected to provide relief to travelers from Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Sambalpur, and Puri, ensuring smoother journeys during peak demand.
Passengers are advised to check schedules on the official Indian Railways portal and confirm seat availability before booking.
