Heatwave Halts CM Grievance Cell on May 4

Bhubaneswar, May 2: The Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell will remain closed on Monday, May 4, 2026, in view of the severe heatwave sweeping across Odisha.

The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued a press release announcing the temporary suspension of grievance hearings to safeguard citizens and staff from extreme weather conditions.

Authorities confirmed that the next date for grievance hearings will be announced later through newspapers and other media platforms.

The decision underscores the government’s precautionary measures amid rising temperatures that have disrupted daily life across the state.
