CM Majhi Hands Over 1,326 Job Letters in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, August 10: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today distributed 1,326 appointment letters to newly selected candidates during a Niyukti Mela at the Rail Auditorium in Bhubaneswar.

The recruitment drive spans nine key departments, reflecting the Odisha government’s commitment to expanding employment opportunities for youth.

The Housing & Urban Development Department received the highest allocation with 364 appointments, followed by Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water (361) and Energy (240).

Other departments included Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment (118), Health & Family Welfare (111), Fisheries & Animal Resources Development (86), Sports & Youth Services (26), Skill Development & Technical Education (10), and Excise (10).

This initiative is part of the state’s broader effort to strengthen governance and service delivery while addressing unemployment challenges.
