Bhubaneswar Glitters on 78th Foundation Day with Grand Celebrations
Bhubaneswar, April 13: The capital city of Odisha marked its 78th Foundation Day with grandeur, stepping into its 79th year of establishment.
Major government buildings, including Lok Bhavan, Lokseva Bhavan, and the Odisha Legislative Assembly, were illuminated with vibrant lights, creating a festive atmosphere across the city.
Public squares and landmarks were decorated to welcome residents and visitors, while the main Foundation Day ceremony was held in front of the Legislative Assembly.
The event featured a grand parade and cultural performances, celebrating Bhubaneswar’s journey from its inception to becoming a modern smart city.
The celebrations not only honoured the city’s rich heritage but also highlighted its transformation into a hub of governance, culture, and urban development.
