61 Families in Baripada Receive PMAY‑U 2.0 Work Orders
Baripada, Odisha: In a significant step toward ensuring housing security for urban families, Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr Krushna Chandra Mahapatra distributed PMAY‑U 2.0 work orders to 61 beneficiaries in Baripada.
The initiative reflects the Odisha government’s commitment to providing Pucca Ghar (permanent houses) to every eligible urban household, strengthening the state’s vision of inclusive urban development.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Mahapatra emphasised that PMAY‑U 2.0 is not just about housing but about socio‑economic empowerment, enabling families to live with dignity and stability.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude, noting that the scheme would transform their living conditions and improve their quality of life.
