Teen Critically Injured in Kendrapara Volleyball Clash
Kendrapara, April 17: A 17-year-old boy, Rahul Manik, was left critically injured following a violent altercation during a volleyball game in Chandiagadi panchayat, Aul block of Kendrapara district.
The incident occurred after an argument with 15-year-old Mrutyunjay Sahu from Malapatana village.
Mrutyunjay allegedly attacked Rahul with a sharp weapon, striking him near the neck.
Rahul was rushed to Aul Hospital, later referred to Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital, and finally shifted to SCB Medical College, Cuttack, where his condition remains critical.
Police have detained Mrutyunjay and another youth, Prasant Das, for questioning.
