Sundargarh Police Seize 90 Kg Ganja, Two Arrested
Sundargarh Sadar Police intercepted a suspicious car near Karamdihi Bagbandha following a tip‑off. The vehicle carried a fake Bhubaneswar registration plate.
Upon inspection, officers recovered nearly 90 kilograms of ganja concealed inside.
Two men from Uttar Pradesh were arrested on the spot. Preliminary investigation revealed that the contraband was being smuggled to Uttar Pradesh.
Police have launched a probe to trace the source of the supply and identify others involved in the smuggling network.
Authorities emphasised that strict action will continue against illegal drug trafficking in the region.
