PM Modi’s Nuakhai Greetings Celebrate Odisha’s Agrarian Spirit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed warm wishes to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Nuakhai, the agrarian festival celebrated across western Odisha.
In his message, he emphasised the importance of farmers, harvest, and togetherness, wishing prosperity and happiness for society.
Modi also greeted citizens in Odia, highlighting harmony and cultural unity.
Nuakhai, observed by offering the season’s first harvest to the deity, symbolises agrarian heritage, family bonding, and social harmony.
Additionally, the Prime Minister paid tribute to renowned Bengali writer Saratchandra Chattopadhyay on his 150th birth anniversary, acknowledging his literary contributions to Indian society.
