PM Modi Launches 100‑Week ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva’ Drive Nationwide

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan” through video conferencing, marking the beginning of a 100‑week nationwide campaign against substance abuse.

The initiative, designed as a Jan Bhagidari (public participation) movement, will feature weekly events every Sunday across India, including sports, walkathons, meditation, cultural programs, awareness drives, street plays, art competitions, and community discussions.

Over 10,000 locations witnessed active participation from students, volunteers, and community leaders.

More than 125 spiritual organisations joined virtually, alongside MY Bharat volunteers, NSS members, youth clubs, schools, colleges, universities, NGOs, and youth wings of industry associations.

The campaign aims to inspire India’s youth to stay away from drugs and become ambassadors of positive social change, reinforcing the vision of a healthier, stronger, and drug‑free nation.
