Odisha Police Take Collective Oath for Drug‑Free Society
In a statewide initiative under the Nasha‑Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Odisha Police Headquarters in Cuttack, along with all 35 police districts, organised a collective oath ceremony to promote a drug‑free society.
Senior officers, staff, and youth pledged to abstain from intoxicants, safeguard families and communities, and spread awareness about the dangers of substance abuse.
Interim DGP Vinaytosh Mishra, Additional DGPs Soumendra Priyadarshi and Prateek Mohanty, IGPs Praveen Kumar and Satyajit Nayak, DIGPs Charan Singh Mina and Jugal Kishore Banoth, among other senior officials, attended the event.
The campaign emphasised grassroots mobilisation and youth engagement as key pillars for building a healthy, safe, and addiction‑free Odisha.
