Odisha Minister Unveils 94 Projects Worth ₹26 Crore in Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda, Odisha: Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 94 development projects worth Rs 26 crore in Brajrajnagar, Jharsuguda.
The highlight was the Atal Bus Stand, a Rs32.78-crore project under OSRTC’s 2023-24 plan, scheduled for completion by August 2027.
Spread over 3.3 acres, the bus stand will feature 19 modern amenities, including parking, EV charging sheds, CCTV surveillance, dormitories, and food courts.
Alongside, 82 new projects worth Rs 23.48 crore were launched, while 12 completed works worth Rs 2.77 crore were inaugurated.
The Minister emphasised that these initiatives will boost infrastructure and create local employment opportunities.
Looking ahead, Pujari announced a Rs 36-crore action plan for 2026-27, which includes a modern meat market, a library, a community hall, and a shopping complex.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to holistic development and welfare for all sections of society.
