Odisha Launches Massive Outreach Campaign to Showcase Governance Achievements
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced a statewide Jan Sampark Abhiyan beginning June 12 to highlight two years of transformative governance and present its roadmap for the next three years.
Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a review meeting with district collectors to finalise preparations.
The campaign will be rolled out at district, block, and gram panchayat levels, aiming to connect directly with citizens and showcase the impact of flagship schemes.
At the district level, three-day exhibitions will display success stories, major projects, and organic farming initiatives.
Discussions on “Vikashit Odisha for Vikashit Bharat” will be held alongside interactive sessions with media and stakeholders.
Block-level events will feature week-long exhibitions spotlighting schemes such as Subhadra Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, PM Surya Ghar, PM SVANidhi, rural housing, and infrastructure projects.
Panchayat-level activities will include Jaati-Jana Jati Sammelan, Krushak Sambad, and Subhadra Shakti Sammelan, ensuring grassroots participation.
Beneficiary interaction camps will deliver services like Ayushman cards on the spot, while awareness drives will strengthen public engagement.
Special instructions have been issued to ensure drinking water, shade, and fire safety at venues due to the ongoing heatwave.
The campaign underscores Odisha’s commitment to inclusive development, transparency, and citizen-centric governance.
