Odisha Governor Flags Off Sai Trust Relief Kits for Flood‑Hit Families

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati flagged off 1,500 dry ration kits donated by the Sri Sathya Sai Trust for Universal Welfare (SSSTFUW) to support flood‑affected households in Bhadrak and Balasore districts.

The kits, dispatched under the Trust’s welfare program Sri Sathya Sai Divyaamrutam (SSSDA), contain rice, dal, edible oil, sugar, wheat flour, salt, flattened rice (chuda), and soap.

These essentials aim to provide immediate relief to families whose homes and livelihoods were disrupted by recent floods.

The Governor emphasised that timely aid is crucial for helping communities return to normal life.

The Visakhapatnam‑based Trust, known for its disaster relief efforts across state boundaries, continues to extend humanitarian support during crises.

This initiative not only delivers material assistance but also conveys a message of solidarity and hope to flood‑stricken communities in Odisha.
