Mission Shakti Review: Focus on Empowering Rural Women Entrepreneurs
Bhubaneswar, Odisha: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida chaired a state‑level seminar and review meeting organised by the Mission Shakti Department at OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
The session focused on strengthening women‑led enterprises across the state, with emphasis on quality, competitiveness, and sustainability.
Parida highlighted the government’s priority to enhance women’s income through improved market access, capacity building, and technology adoption.
She urged officials and stakeholders to coordinate closely to empower women entrepreneurs and improve rural livelihoods.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of livelihood initiatives under Mission Shakti and Odisha Livelihoods Mission, addressing challenges and field‑level experiences.
Senior officials, district coordinators, and block‑level managers participated, reaffirming the state’s commitment to women’s economic empowerment and inclusive growth.
