Karishma Tanna & Varun Bangera Welcome Baby Ved on Guru Purnima

Television actor Karishma Tanna and her husband, businessman Varun Bangera, have announced the name of their first child.

The couple revealed on Janmashtami that their son, born on July 29, 2026, will be called Ved Tanna Bangera.

The announcement carried spiritual significance, as Ved’s birth coincided with Guru Purnima, a day celebrated for wisdom and guidance.

The name Ved, derived from Sanskrit, symbolises sacred knowledge and light.

The couple shared the news with an illustration of their hands protecting their newborn’s tiny fist, calling him their “greatest blessing.”

Karishma and Varun’s journey together began in 2021, leading to their wedding in Mumbai in 2022.

Earlier this year, Karishma announced her pregnancy in April, followed by a traditional Tulu‑style baby shower in May.

Karishma, known for her roles in Lahore Confidential (2021), Netflix’s Scoop (2023), and her cameo in Call Me Bae (2024), now embarks on a new chapter as a mother.

The arrival of Ved marks a joyous milestone for the couple, celebrated on spiritually significant occasions.
