Indian Railways Announces Special One‑Way Train from Bengaluru to Dibrugarh via Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, April 27: To meet rising passenger demand, Indian Railways has announced a special one‑way train service (No. 06573) from SMVT Bengaluru to Dibrugarh, passing through Bhubaneswar and other key stations in Odisha.
The train will depart SMVT Bengaluru at 23:00 hrs on April 27, 2026, and reach Dibrugarh at 16:30 hrs on Thursday.
En route, it will halt at major stations including Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Bhadrak, ensuring connectivity for Odisha passengers travelling toward the Northeast.
According to officials, the train will comprise 18 coaches — 3 AC 3‑tier, 5 Sleeper Class, 8 General Second Class, and 2 Luggage‑cum‑Guard/Divyangjan coaches.
Railway authorities said the service is aimed at easing congestion on regular routes and providing relief during peak travel demand, especially for passengers heading to the Northeast region.
