CM Majhi Inaugurates Ardei Bridge, Boosts Connectivity for 5,000 Villagers
Keonjhar, April 11: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated a newly constructed 100‑metre bridge over the Ardei Nala in Bodapalasa Gram Panchayat, Keonjhar district.
The bridge is expected to benefit over 5,000 villagers across Bodapalasa and five nearby gram panchayats, ensuring smooth all‑weather connectivity and easing daily commutes.
Speaking at the event, CM Majhi highlighted that the project provides a new identity to the Keonjhar Sadar area, strengthening rural infrastructure and supporting socio‑economic growth.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr Fakir Mohan Nayak (District Planning Board Chairman), Akhil Chandra Nayak (MLA, Patna), and Bishal Singh (District Collector, Keonjhar).
Officials emphasised that the bridge will play a crucial role in boosting rural development, improving access to markets, healthcare, and education, and enhancing the overall quality of life in the region.
