Bus Hits Bike on Khandagiri Overbridge, Father Dead, Son Critical
Bhubaneswar, Aug 10: A tragic accident occurred on the Khandagiri overbridge when a speeding bus collided with a two‑wheeler carrying a father and son.
The impact left the father critically injured, and he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
His son sustained severe injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
The collision triggered a massive traffic jam on the overbridge and the adjoining road, drawing a large crowd of onlookers.
Police from Khandagiri station rushed to the spot, facilitated the victims’ transfer to the hospital, and seized the bus and bike involved.
Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
