BJD Women’s Wing Reshuffled: New Leaders Across 8 Districts

Bhubaneswar, April 24: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced a major organisational reshuffle in its women’s wing, the Biju Mahila Janata Dal, appointing new block and nagar presidents across eight districts of Odisha.

The appointments, issued from Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, cover Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Dhenkanal, Nuapada, Sundargarh, and Boudh.

Each district received fresh leadership for blocks, municipalities, and NACs, marking a significant step in strengthening the party’s grassroots presence.

The restructuring was formally approved by BJD President Naveen Patnaik, underscoring the party’s focus on empowering women leaders and expanding its organisational reach ahead of upcoming political challenges.
