ACC Clears Appointment of Three IPS Officers as CBI Joint Directors

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of three senior IPS officers as Joint Directors in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

According to the official notification, Akhilesh Kumar Singh (MH:2008) will replace Sudha Singh (OD:2006), while Satya Veer Singh (BH:2008) will succeed Ashwin Shenvi (HY:2006).

In addition, Anish Gupta (JH:2008) has been appointed to fill the vacancy left by Ramnish Geer, who retired recently.

These appointments will take effect once the officers assume charge and will remain valid until the completion of their tenure or until further orders.

The reshuffle reflects the government’s routine succession planning and leadership restructuring within India’s premier investigative agency.
