Three Stranded Trekkers Rescued After 22 Hours on Malyagiri Hill, Keonjhar
Keonjhar witnessed a dramatic rescue operation after three youths were stranded on Malyagiri Hill for nearly 22 hours.
The group of seven had begun their trek from Khuludi Shiva Temple, but continuous rain and poor visibility caused three of them to lose their way.
Fire Services teams launched a challenging overnight search through dense forest and steep terrain, eventually locating the stranded trekkers.
After receiving first aid, they were safely brought back to Keonjhar town.
Local residents and authorities praised the swift and tireless efforts of the rescue team, while the incident underscored the risks of trekking during monsoon season and the importance of safety precautions.
