President Murmu Arrives in Odisha June 19, PM Modi Follows June 20

Bhubaneswar/Rairangpur, June 2: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a two‑day visit to Odisha starting June 19, followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival on June 20.

Murmu will land in Bhubaneswar and travel to Rairangpur by Air Force helicopter, where she will attend programmes in Rairangpur and Pahadpur, her in‑laws’ village. The President is expected to inaugurate development projects and interact with local communities.

On June 20, Prime Minister Modi will reach Rairangpur, where President Murmu will welcome him. Both leaders will jointly lay foundation stones and inaugurate key projects, including a newly built stadium and development works in Bamanghati subdivision.

Mayurbhanj MP Naba Charan Majhi confirmed the schedule, noting that the visit will bring joy and new opportunities for residents of Mayurbhanj. The twin programmes are expected to boost infrastructure and highlight the region’s importance in Odisha’s development roadmap.
