OPSC Declares OCS 2024 Results: 200 Officers Selected

Bhubaneswar, May 26: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has declared the final results of the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2024, recommending 200 candidates for appointment under the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.

The selection process included the Main (Written) Examination held between January 31 and February 10, 2026, followed by the Personality Test conducted from May 14 to 20, 2026.

A notable highlight of this year’s results is the strong representation of women.

Out of 200 successful candidates, 78 are women—surpassing the reserved quota of 65 and accounting for 39% of the total list.

Category‑wise, all advertised vacancies have been filled: 70 from the Unreserved category, 35 from SEBC, 45 from SC, and 50 from ST.

Importantly, no carry‑forward vacancies remain.

Bubun Sahoo (SEBC, selected under UR) secured the top rank, while Sovna Mohanty (UR Female) stood second.

The provisional list is subject to verification of documents, category certificates, and medical fitness.

This announcement marks a significant milestone for Odisha’s administrative framework, with women breaking barriers and strengthening representation in the state bureaucracy.
