OISF Bus Accident in Keonjhar Leaves 19 Injured, All Discharged After Treatment
Keonjhar, Odisha – A bus carrying 22 personnel of the Odisha Industrial Security Force (OISF) met with an accident near Taduabahal under Champua Tahasil in Keonjhar district early Friday morning.
The incident occurred around 7:20 AM while the team was on a duty trip.
According to officials, 19 personnel sustained minor injuries in the mishap. Six of them were immediately taken to Basudevpur Community Health Centre, where they received treatment and were discharged.
The remaining 13 were admitted to Champua Sub-Divisional Hospital, where they were provided medical care before being released later in the day.
Authorities confirmed that no grievous injuries or casualties were reported. The swift medical response ensured timely treatment and reassurance for the families of the injured personnel.
Officials have stated that the circumstances of the accident will be reviewed to identify preventive measures and strengthen safety protocols for security force travel.
The incident highlights the challenges faced by OISF personnel during routine operations and underscores the importance of prioritising their health and safety.
