Odisha to Launch 10‑Day Seva Setu Campaign from October 1

The Odisha government is set to roll out the Seva Setu campaign from October 1 to 10, aiming to deliver welfare schemes directly to citizens at the grassroots level.

As part of the month‑long Seva Sankalp initiative, the campaign will establish block‑level camps across all Assembly constituencies, functioning as one‑stop hubs for scheme awareness, registration, and application tracking.

Citizens will be able to access services ranging from pensions and housing to healthcare and agriculture support without visiting multiple government offices.

Permanent Seva Setu Kendras will be established to ensure continuity beyond the 10‑day drive.

Minister Dr Krushna Chandra Mahapatra emphasised that Seva Setu represents a long‑term resolve to ensure welfare benefits reach the last person in society.

He described the initiative as a mindset shift toward “prosperity through service, development through resolve, and a developed Odisha through public participation.”
