Odisha Police Orders Urgent Transfers of ASI, Inspectors
Bhubaneswar, Aug 14: The Odisha Police Establishment Board has directed urgent transfers of one Assistant Sub‑Inspector (ASI) and three Inspectors, citing administrative requirements and public service exigencies.
- ASI Transfer: Sanjay Kumar Muduli from Jagatsinghpur district has been moved to the Special Branch, Bhubaneswar.
- Inspector Transfers:
- Nilamani Nayak (CID CB) → Bhadrak district
- Amitav Das (CID CB) → Bhadrak district
- Abhimanyu Durga (Baragada) → Kalahandi (revised from earlier posting to Khordha)
The Board instructed that all officers be relieved immediately to join their new postings.
The reshuffle reflects the department’s effort to address vacancies and strengthen policing across districts.
