Odisha Leaders Extend Greetings on 80th Independence Day
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, conveyed heartfelt wishes to the people of Odisha and India on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.
CM Majhi paid tribute to freedom fighters, including unsung heroes, highlighting their courage and sacrifice as the foundation of India’s freedom.
He urged citizens to uphold unity, integrity, and patriotism while reiterating his vision of a “Samruddha Odisha” contributing to a “Viksit Bharat.”
Deputy CM KV Singh Deo honoured martyrs who laid down their lives for independence, emphasising resilience, progress, and unity as defining features of India’s journey.
He called for recommitment to justice, liberty, and equality, stressing Odisha’s role in ensuring prosperity for all.
Deputy CM Pravati Parida shared greetings through a video message, extending warm wishes to citizens on this historic day.
