Odisha Leaders Extend Republic Day 2026 Greetings, Stress Unity and Democracy
Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, Odisha’s political leadership came together to convey heartfelt wishes to the people of the state and the nation.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi urged citizens to unite in the mission of building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India), emphasising collective responsibility in shaping the country’s future.
Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo paid tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs whose sacrifices safeguarded national unity and security.
His counterpart, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, highlighted the importance of democracy and the Constitution, reminding citizens of their responsibilities alongside their rights.
Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik also extended greetings, stressing peace, brotherhood, and goodwill as the pillars of democracy.
He called for unity and harmony to ensure progress and prosperity for all.
