Odisha Govt to Release ₹833 Cr CM‑KISAN Aid Tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government is set to disburse the 5th instalment of the CM‑KISAN scheme for the Rabi 2026–27 season on September 4, 2026.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will formally launch the initiative at OUAT Krushi Shiksha Sadan, Bhubaneswar, ensuring direct benefit transfer (DBT) to farmers’ accounts.
This instalment, amounting to ₹833 crore, will benefit over 41 lakh farming families across the state, including small and marginal farmers, landless agricultural households, and members of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG).
To ensure transparency and statewide participation, ministers and dignitaries will oversee district‑level launch ceremonies.
The synchronised rollout highlights the government’s commitment to farmer welfare, timely financial aid, and agricultural empowerment.
