Odisha Assembly’s 7th Session to Begin September 22

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Legislative Assembly will convene its 7th session from September 22 to October 3, 2026, spanning nine working days.

According to the official schedule, eight days have been earmarked for government business, while one day will be dedicated to private members’ business.

The Assembly will remain adjourned on September 26–27 due to government holidays and on October 2 for Gandhi Jayanti.

The session is expected to witness deliberations on key legislative matters, policy discussions, and pressing issues of governance.

Political observers anticipate that the government will use this session to push forward important bills and address matters of public interest, making it a crucial period in Odisha’s legislative calendar.
