Odisha Govt Reshuffles IFS Cadre, G Rajesh Appointed Additional PCCF (Nodal)
Bhubaneswar, April 28: The Odisha government has announced a major reshuffle in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) cadre, appointing senior officer G Rajesh (2001 batch) as Additional PCCF (Nodal).
Rajesh, who previously served as Additional PCCF (PP&A) and CEO of CAMPA, will now oversee nodal coordination of forest and environmental initiatives.
Other key changes include T Ashok Kumar taking charge as CCF & CEO of CAMPA with additional responsibility as CCF (PP&A), while Sanjay Kumar Swain has been assigned as Director of Forest Rangers College, Angul, alongside his role as RCCF Angul. Swayam Mallick has been appointed Special Secretary, continuing as CF State Silviculturist.
Field-level transfers saw P Arthanari posted as CF Cuttack (KL) circle and RCCF Bhubaneswar circle, Samrat Gowda as RCCF Sambalpur with additional charge as GM OFDC and CF Balangir (KL), and Sumit Kumar Kar as DFO Similipal South Wildlife Division.
Lalit Kumar Patra, Prashant Patel, and Ramesh Kumar have been posted as DFOs of Dhenkanal, Jeypore, and Similipal North, respectively.
In a notable move, Mirase Pradeep Devidas, formerly DFO Balangir, has been appointed Deputy Director of Nandankanan Zoological Park.
The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance, improving conservation efforts, and enhancing efficiency across Odisha’s Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department.
